Facts About the 2025 Competition

Prerequisites for participation

  • You identify as a female* or non-binary person and are at least 18 years old.
  • You have already produced and released tracks professionally (e.g. via a label or with a promo campaign via recordJet)
  • You have already produced/written for other artists
  • You would like to release three more tracks/productions by the end of the year

Timeline and procedure

  • April - May 25: Application phase
  • September 25: Announcement of the winners
  • October 25: Award ceremony and workshop day at Berlin Circle Studios with renowned producers
  • TBD: 3-day writing camp organized by Sony Music Publishing

The following prize awaits you

  • Subsidy for music productions (900 €)
  • A workshop day with top-class experts from the music industry at Sony Music Circle Studios Berlin
  • A 3-day writing camp organized by Sony Music Publishing
  • Inclusion in the Female* Producer/Songwriter Roster and thus links with labels and artists
  • One year’s membership with Music Women* Germany
  • Ein Get-together mit allen Gewinner*innen, Key-Personen von Sony Music Entertainment, dem Female* Producer Collective und Music Women* Germany sowie special guests aus dem Music Business
